“I’m gladly surprised and humbly facing this as a challenge; we have to re-activate the music scene. Then we will celebrate, because when we focus on music there’s nothing we cannot solve”. Juan Guillermo Carrrasco (Red Exodia’s CEO – MUSTACH Director).
Juan Guillermo Carrasco was the most suitable person to be named Director of MUSTACH (Music Tech Association Chile), a Trade Association which brings together the Chilean technology-based companies that develop and provide innovative products and services for the music industry. He has a solid career which includes being member of Chile Music Industry, Fuerza Cultural movement, and being CEO of Red Exodia Musical Consulting, aside from having been part of the #ESCUCHAR2021 management.
This happens one year after the voting for the “Honorary Membership ” obtained by Red Exodia; their active participation places him today as a Director of MUSTACH.
As a TV and radio host with more than ten years of experience in events and cultural management, he produced -along with his team- the third version of the most important recognitions for independent music called #ESCUCHAR2021 Awards; just in the most critical period for the culture. No one was infected with the virus while 21.000 people watched the streaming.
In the same way, they brought free online live concerts to any device through #EnPrimeraLínea live streaming show. 200.000 people watched it in less than a year.
“We want to encourage the interchange of musical services among partners, cooperation and a friendly environment to work with our colleagues, giving solutions that include everyone and bringing musical technologies closer to our daily life. That’s our first step. We have already considered the participation of our members in Ibero-American events and festivals. There are many things coming up next”, he states.
The rest of the 2021-2022 board is composed by Pilar Huerto (Sonidos Inmersivos’s CEO), Félix Barros (Probeta Music/Fanear Labs), Cristian Dañobeitia (ODMC) and Cristian Lucero (Almagesto/Twitsession). 23 companies and 14 new members are part of this Trade Association.
